We not only take care of and find homes for the numerous stray cats and dogs that come our way, but we also help the poor and the elderly to spay and neuter their animals so they too, can have pets, and in some cases, their pet is the ONLY thing they have in their life and it becomes as important to them as a child. What would happen if there was no one to take in the strays for the county? No one to call when there is a rescue to perform at night, like a road accident. No one to help with a troublesome dog pack. Where will you turn when you have feral cats turning up because someone has dumped another pregnant cat in the woods. Who will take the animals in, care for them, give them the proper inoculations to protect the public and make sure that they are spayed or neutered so that there will not be many more unwanted kittens and puppies.
